der sehenswerte Hanging Lake ist nur zu Fuß erreichbar, leider zu weit für mich

nun gibt es zwei Möglichkeiten nach
State Bridge
State Bridge ist nicht wichtig, ist halt ein wichtiger Knotenpunkt für die Route
Variante A weiter am Colorado River (gravel ? nicht feststellbar, kein Streetview)
über die 301 bis
Burns dann weiter irgenwie zu 131
und dann die 131 über
McCoy nach

über die I-70 nach
Walcott und dann über die 131 nach
State Bridge
dann über die 1 und am Ende 9 nach
Kremmling, Teil des Colorado River Headwaters Scenic Drive, gravel
eine Alternative gibt es aber nicht, wenn dann nur großflächig
auf der 40 nach Norden, Stopp am Wolford Reservoir Overlook
weiter die 40, später die 14,34, 125 bis zum
Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge
dann die 125 weiter bis nach

Moose-Goose Nature Trail
An ADA compliant 1/2-mile interpretive nature trail, which winds along the Illinois River, provides a great chance to view song birds and other riparian residents. During hunting seasons it is a good idea to wear hunter orange or brightly colored clothing while walking on the Refuge.
Auto-Tour Route
A 6-mile self-guided auto tour route will take you through a variety of habitats on the western side of the Refuge, providing excellent opportunities to view and photograph waterfowl and other water birds, white-tailed prairie dogs and pronghorn.
Overlooks
There are three ADA compliant overlooks to facilitate viewing wildlife and habitats at a distance. The Brocker Overlook located off Highway 14, the Allard Overlook located on the Refuge Headquarters’ entrance road and the Owl Ridge Overlook located on Jackson County Road 32 near the Refuge Headquarters.
